Digital Champion – Digital Skills Facilitator & Content Developer

Help shape and deliver digital skills workshops that support refugees and people seeking asylum. As a Digital Champion, you'll develop engaging lesson plans and learning resources, as well as facilitate online or in-person workshops. This flexible role is ideal for volunteers with teaching, training or facilitation experience who want to make a lasting impact. Full training and ongoing support are provided.

Detailed Description

Help refugees and people seeking asylum build the digital skills and confidence they need to achieve their goals. As a Digital Champion, you'll work with our Digital Skills team to develop engaging lesson plans, presentations and learning resources, as well as facilitate digital skills workshops online or in person. You'll help shape new learning content, test activities with learners and continuously improve our courses based on feedback. This role can be carried out remotely or from our Kentish Town office (NW5), with flexible volunteering opportunities available.

Why these skills are required

- Experience teaching, training, tutoring or facilitating groups. - Confident using everyday digital tools such as email, the internet and Google Workspace or Microsoft Office. - Comfortable using AI tools and interested in exploring how they can support learning and everyday digital tasks. - Able to communicate clearly and adapt your approach for learners with different levels of English and digital confidence. - An interest in developing engaging learning materials and facilitating workshops for adult learners. - A genuine commitment to digital inclusion and supporting refugees and people seeking asylum. - Able to work collaboratively as part of a team and respond positively to feedback.
