Detailed Description

Join Mobile Food Hub and help support local school children and their families by delivering healthy and nutritious food parcels directly to our partner schools and community locations. We currently support families across two local schools and are looking for a reliable volunteer driver to help us ensure deliveries arrive safely and on time. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a direct impact in the community while working alongside a friendly and supportive team dedicated to tackling food insecurity.

Why these skills are required

Delivery & Transportation: Safely collect and deliver food parcels, meal boxes, and supplies to schools and community locations. Time Management: Complete deliveries efficiently and communicate any delays or issues to the Food Hub Coordinator. Loading & Handling: Assist with loading and unloading food supplies while following safe lifting and food handling guidance. Communication & Teamwork: Maintain positive relationships with school staff, volunteers, and families while supporting the wider Mobile Food Hub team.

The Living Centre 2 Ossulston Street London

The Living Centre, 2 Ossulston Street, London NW1 1DF, is a short walk from King’s Cross St. Pancras and Euston stations. From either station, exit and walk south onto Ossulston Street (4–8 minutes). Several buses also stop nearby on Euston Road, including routes 18, 63, 68, 91, 205, 390, N91, with just a short walk to the centre. Step-free access is available at most stations and bus routes.
