Mobile Food Hub
You will advise the board on food operations, logistics, and programme delivery while supporting efficient food distribution to communities. Contribute to operational planning and process improvements, identify partnerships to strengthen food supply and programme impact, monitor operational risks and recommend solutions, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and food standards.
Mobile Food Hub is becoming a registered charity to continue fighting food insecurity and make a real difference to people’s lives. Using technology and developing free and paid subscription models, we respond quickly to local needs and grow our services to reach more people. We aim to restore dignity, control, and hope to our communities. We are seeking a Food / Operations Trustee to advise and guide Mobile Food Hub on food logistics, operations, and programme delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience in food distribution, operations management, or running community food projects. Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and a passion for improving food access are essential. As a Food / Operations Trustee, you will play a key role in helping Mobile Food Hub strengthen how food is sourced, managed, and distributed to communities experiencing food insecurity. You will use your expertise to improve operational systems, support strategic decision-making, and help expand the organisation’s impact. This is an opportunity to apply your skills to a meaningful cause, work alongside a passionate team, and help shape the growth of a charity dedicated to restoring dignity, choice, and hope to the communities
Trustees will meet 4 times per year, every 12 weeks. Meetings will be in person and virtually.
