Trustee Secretary
Mobile Food Hub
You will support the Board in governance and compliance matters and maintain and update statutory registers and records. Prepare agendas, take minutes, and distribute board papers for trustee meetings and ensure all filings with Companies House and the Charity Commission are completed accurately and on time. And advise the board on legal or procedural issues as required, acting as a point of contact for all governance and compliance queries.
We are seeking a motivated and organised Secretary Trustee to support Mobile Food Hub, as we take the next step to become a registered charity. The ideal candidate will have experience in administrative, governance, or legal roles and a passion for supporting community-focused initiatives. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to supporting vulnerable communities are essential.

Support the CEO and board in implementing policies and procedures. Ensure trustee induction and training is completed Monitor deadlines and statutory obligations for reporting and filings. Attend trustee meetings, committee meetings, and training sessions as required. A flexible attitude to other governance or administrative work as needed.
Contribute your skills to improve governance and compliance and supporting Mobile Food Hub become a registered charity tackling food insecurity. Work closely with a dynamic board to ensure both organisations operates effectively. Play a pivotal role in shaping the future and impact of Mobile Food Hub.
Trustees will meet 4 times per year, every 12 weeks. Meetings will be in person and virtually.

The Living Centre, 2 Ossulston Street, London NW1 1DF, is a short walk from King’s Cross St. Pancras and Euston stations. From either station, exit and walk south onto Ossulston Street (4–8 minutes).
