We are looking for an enthusiastic Community Fundraising Support Volunteer

Detailed Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Community Fundraising Support Volunteer to assist our Community Partnerships & Fundraising Manager in planning, coordinating and delivering community fundraising activities. This is an exciting role for someone who enjoys organising events, building relationships, or creating engaging fundraising ideas - and wants to make a tangible impact on a small but dynamic charity. You don’t need to be an expert, but some experience or confidence in fundraising, events, or community engagement is preferable.

Why these skills are required

Essential: • An interest in community fundraising, events or charity work • Organised and reliable, with good communication skills • Friendly, approachable and comfortable engaging with people • Some confidence in planning or supporting events/activities • Ability to work collaboratively and follow guidance Desirable (but not required): • Experience in fundraising, events coordination or community engagement • Basic digital or social media skills • Creative ideas for community based activities • Familiarity with refugee/asylum seeker issues We especially welcome volunteers with lived experience of migration, displacement or multilingual backgrounds.

Time Commitment

Hours: Flexible – approx. 4 - 6 hours per week (preference for in-person work but hybrid working also possible) Commitment: Minimum 3 months
