You’ll help keep our shops running smoothly and be a valued part of our Age UK team.
Whether you’re sorting donations, chatting with customers, or helping at the till, you’ll play a key part in raising money to support older people across the country. You don’t need experience As a Volunteer Shop Assistant, you might do different tasks, such as: - Sort and price donated items. - Serve customers and use the till. - Keep the shop floor clean, tidy and well-stocked. - Talk to customers about Gift Aid. - Sell raffle tickets. - Create a friendly, welcoming environment for everyone as our shops can be a community hub for locals
