EcoCounts is a growing climate charity focused on mobilising local communities to take meaningful climate action across North London. We are looking for an experienced and committed Trustee Treasurer to join our Board and provide strategic financial oversight. This is a key volunteer leadership role, offering the opportunity to apply your financial expertise to a high-impact cause. As Treasurer, you will guide the organisation’s financial strategy, ensure strong governance, and support sustainable growth. Key responsibilities include: Providing strategic financial advice to the Board Leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning Ensuring accurate financial records and regulatory compliance Reporting on financial performance at Board meetings Supporting fundraising budgets and financial decision-making Maintaining financial controls and risk management frameworks Liaising with auditors where required You will work closely with a passionate and collaborative team of trustees and volunteers, contributing to the overall direction of the charity. Commitment: approx. 4 hours per week Location: North London (hybrid: online + in-person meetings)

We are looking for a qualified finance professional with strong experience in financial management, budgeting, and reporting. You should have a good understanding of charity governance and financial compliance, and be confident in presenting financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders. Previous experience in a Trustee or senior finance role is desirable. A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in climate action are essential.
