The Furniture Scheme needs your help! We are looking for volunteers who can help us with the efficient running of our furniture warehouse/shop - in particular those who can lift and shift furniture.
The Furniture Scheme needs your help! Our customers and volunteers come from all walks of life and we're looking for more volunteers to join our jolly team and help run our warehouse. In particular we are looking for strong individuals willing to lift and shift furniture. All training will be given. Time commitment: a morning/afternoon or one day a week.

We are looking for people who are: - fit and strong - able to work well in a team with staff and other volunteers - able to work with the general public - able to follow instructions and carry out tasks in busy working environment - are reliable, honest and punctual
People volunteer for many reasons and there are many benefits to volunteering. You'll be part of an amazing team of volunteers, all with different talents and skills, helping us to help those in our community who need support. We offer a lunch allowance and volunteers also receive 15% off any purchases.
A morning or afternoon session of three hours would be ideal.
