Detailed Description

Are you ready to contribute your time and skills to a small local women’s charity making a significant impact? Have you worked with marginalised sections of the community, or with small charities or organisations in the UK voluntary sector? Do you have experience and understanding of issues affecting local women? Are you familiar with community issues and rooted in your local area? Have you ever been a trustee or school governor? Do you work for Camden Council? Do you also live in Camden or a neighbouring borough? If any of these apply to you and the role sounds interesting we would love to hear from you. Our friendly community centre supports women to access social, well-being and support services, we bring diverse communities together and actively encourage social cohesion and integration. It is really important for us that our Trustee team reflects the many communities we serve. Time Commitment

Trustees are expected to attend ten Board meetings per year, held on Mondays from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm, in addition to the Annual General Meeting (AGM). Trustees should also be prepared to contribute additional time on occasion as required to fulfil their responsibilities effectively, probably amounting to several hours per month.
