You will advise the board on food operations, logistics, and programme delivery while supporting efficient food distribution to communities. Contribute to operational planning and process improvements, identify partnerships to strengthen food supply and programme impact, monitor operational risks and recommend solutions, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and food standards.
Mobile Food Hub is becoming a registered charity to continue fighting food insecurity and make a real difference to people’s lives. Using technology and developing free and paid subscription models, we respond quickly to local needs and grow our services to reach more people. We aim to restore dignity, control, and hope to our communities. We are seeking a Food / Operations Trustee to advise and guide Mobile Food Hub on food logistics, operations, and programme delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience in food distribution, operations management, or running community food projects. Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and a passion for improving food access are essential.

As a Food / Operations Trustee, you will play a key role in helping Mobile Food Hub strengthen how food is sourced, managed, and distributed to communities experiencing food insecurity. You will use your expertise to improve operational systems, support strategic decision-making, and help expand the organisation’s impact. This is an opportunity to apply your skills to a meaningful cause, work alongside a passionate team, and help shape the growth of a charity dedicated to restoring dignity, choice, and hope to the communities
4 meetings each year, every 12 weeks. In person and virtual Board of Trustee meetings.

The Living Centre, 2 Ossulston Street, London NW1 1DF, is a short walk from King’s Cross St. Pancras and Euston stations. From either station, exit and walk south onto Ossulston Street (4–8 minutes). Several buses also stop nearby on Euston Road, including routes 18, 63, 68, 91, 205, 390, N91, with just a short walk to the centre. Step-free access is available at most stations and bus routes.
