Support the local community through serving drinks, pastries and lunches in our community cafe.
The Community Café volunteering role involves supporting the day-to-day running of our Community Café by serving hot drinks, pastries, and lunches. The community cafe is part of our Community Wellbeing Service, which is provides preventative support for local families enabling members to access a wide range of support under one roof, in order to build financial and personal resilience. We are looking for friendly and reliable volunteers who enjoy working with people in a busy environment and are wanting to contribute to the local community.

We are looking for someone who is: - A friendly character with good communication skills. - Comfortable communicating with people without a shared first language. - Able to follow food hygiene standards and health and safety guidelines. - Comfortable working independently and as part of a team. - Able to follow instructions and learn new skills.

Ideally you will be able to do at least one three hour shift every other week.
