A creative volunteer role creating photo and video content for social media, websites, and reports, helping make climate action accessible and engaging.
EcoCounts is looking for a creative and motivated volunteer to help produce engaging visual content for our social media channels, websites, articles, and reports. This role is ideal for someone interested in visual storytelling who wants to build or strengthen practical skills in filming, sound, lighting, and editing while contributing to meaningful climate action. You’ll work closely with our team to capture workshops, events, and ideas that help make climate action accessible, practical, and people-centred. Availability on Mondays is essential, as we run weekly workshops called EcoCounts Mondays.

Skills Required - Interest in photography, video, or visual storytelling - Basic ability to use a camera or smartphone (professional experience not required) - Willingness to learn manual camera settings (light, focus, white balance) - Awareness of good framing and composition (e.g. Rule of Thirds) - Interest in capturing clear audio and learning basic microphone techniques - Basic or developing video editing skills (any software welcome) - Reliability and ability to attend Monday meet-ups.
