Providing a friendly, helpful and reassuring presence on Westminster Bridge.
Volunteers will be providing a friendly, approachable and reassuring presence, signposting homeless individuals and other vulnerable people to support services. Providing reassurance, directions, and local information to visitors whilst offering practical crime prevention advice. Acting as a visible deterrent to opportunistic pickpockets and scammers targeting the vulnerable such as senior citizens and tourists. This role is preventative and observational where volunteers work in pairs and have a team leader on hand to help with any advice including dealing with questions from the public.

To be able to speak English, any other languages are also useful. To be helpful, empathetic, non judgmental.
You will receive training and mentoring, gaining valuable experience and transferable skills, Training will include Safeguarding awareness Data protection and GDPR De-escalation and personal safety techniques Observation and situational awareness Basic First Aid Bleed kit awareness and training
Minimum of 4 hours at the weekend at least once a month.
