Drive Felix vans to collect surplus food and deliver it to charities across London.
As a Driving Volunteer, you’ll get behind the wheel of one of Felix’s vans to deliver fresh, rescued food to charities, schools, and community partners across London, while also collecting surplus food from suppliers to bring back into our network. This vital role keeps our operation running smoothly, supports the work of our depot and kitchen teams, and ensures good, nutritious food reaches the people who need it most.
Driving (must have full driving license)
Basic IT skills - internet & email
A full UK driving licence with fewer than six points, basic IT skills to book sessions, good attention to detail, the ability to follow safety and manual‑handling guidance, and a positive, reliable attitude while carrying out deliveries and collections. Minimum age for drivers is 21.
Driving Volunteers play a vital role in getting good food straight to the communities that need it. By delivering to charities and collecting fresh surplus from suppliers, they keep food flowing through London, reduce waste, and help ensure thousands of people receive nutritious meals every day.
Session times vary dependant on depot location, session can be 5 to 7 hours, AM, PM or full day.
