Hospital Charity Information Stand Volunteer

The National Brain Appeal

Charity information stand We are looking for volunteers who can commit to three to four hours a week to run an Information Stand in The National Hospital. Volunteers will: - Set up a charity stand with our latest leaflets and merchandise - Interact with patients and staff, telling them more about the work of The National Brain Appeal. Confidently take payments for any merchandise sold on the information stand, using a card machine. Support the team by topping up newsletters in the hospital

Detailed Description

As a volunteer you will be giving something back to a cause you care passionately about, as well as gaining valuable skills to boost your CV, confidence and sense of achievement. We are looking for volunteers who can commit to three to four hours a week to run an Information Stand in The National Hospital. Volunteers will: - Set up a charity stand with our latest leaflets and merchandise - Interact with patients and staff, telling them more about the work of The National Brain Appeal. - Confidently take payments for any merchandise sold on the information stand, using a card machine. - Support the team by topping up newsletters in the hospital

Why these skills are required

As a front facing public role our volunteers need to enjoy engaging with all members of the public and have a pleasant and positive manner. You need to feel comfortable around different types of people and take payments on a simple payment system.
