Help our Families Pastor run our youth group, toddler group, and range of holiday activities in school holidays. Perfect if you like being with children and young people and making a difference to their lives.
● Help plan and prepare activities ● Take part in activities, spend time with the children and young people, and encourage them to participate ● Build positive relationships with the children and families who attend the clubs and activities ● Create a safe environment in which children and young people can thrive. ● Role-model positive behaviours. ● Uphold and adhere to SGTM’s policies and procedures ● Ensure the protection and welfare of children by reporting any safeguarding concerns to the designated person

● have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to relate to children and young people from all walks of life ● have a strong commitment and enthusiasm for working with children and young people and an understanding of the challenges they face ● have an ability to express empathy and treat children and young people’s concerns with respect, sensitivity and tact ● are a team player who is reliable, patient, resilient, and flexible

Toddler Group is every Friday morning. Youth Group is the first Saturday in each month. You can those to do one or both of these but don't need to sign up to help at every session - if you want to help once a week/month or once every two weeks/months, that's fine.
