Administrator for Climate Action Charity

EcoCounts

Support EcoCounts management with administrative tasks, keeping accurate records, and helping smooth operations.

Detailed Description

What will you be doing? · Helping the founder and lead volunteer, the trustees, and the main project leads · Picking up non-time critical, general tasks from meetings or on-going workstreams · Fielding external queries to appropriate people · Overseeing the whole operation with a view to identifying weak spots or neglected areas · Providing support for a crowdfunder scheduled for February 2026 Goals 1. Our main goal is to find someone who can take on some of the EcoCounts work that is less time-critical and more repetitive but still requires a certain amount of responsibility. 2. We are in the middle of making EcoCounts a more structured organisation so that everything runs in a more effective and efficient manner. An administrator will help by fitting into the new structure to free up some time for the trustees and directors in what is a very busy and challenging period for EcoCounts.

Admin, Basic IT skills - internet & email, Good IT Skills

Why these skills are required

1. Organised and detail-oriented 2. Reliable and able to manage deadlines 3. Comfortable with digital tools like Trello and cloud-based office docs & spreadsheets (like Google) - training can be given. 4. Good communication – happy to talk, use Signal instant messenger, discussion board, zoom etc 5. Friendly but clear approach 6. Ability to build up a good organisational overview 7. Personal change is only one of the five ways that we can change society - we want to drive systemic change in our community, businesses and government too. 8.
