Prepare and serve drinks, snacks and lunches in the café.
Visitors can enjoy refreshments in the Grade II listed Boiler House, as part of the overall visitor experience, raising important funds for our charity. Café assistants will be an integral part of the company’s new strategy as we begin to offer more as part of a new café experience. We are looking for individuals to prepare and serve drinks, snacks and lunches in the café for the general public, visiting groups and on event days. This will be a shared role alongside other volunteers, where the extensive set of duties will be divided between the team. Training will be provided.

We seek someone: • With passion for food and hospitality. • Willing to develop skills in running a basic café offer • With enthusiasm for customer services and creating special memories for visitors. • With good general hygiene standards and ability to understand and follow the hygiene procedures for the café. Training is provided. • Who will give a professional impression to the visitors by dressing appropriately and presenting a clean and tidy image. • Ability to maintain a calm and efficient attitude on busy days. • Who is friendly and works well as part of a team.

Mostly weekends from Easter onwards, and opportunity to also volunteer occasional week days.
