Ability to empathise with the problems faced by VIPs Good time management skills, being able to schedule walks with VIPs and arriving at the meeting point on time. Committed & Reliable Compassionate Patient Trustworthy Good Listener, we would appreciate it if our volunteers could have interesting chats with VIPs whilst on journeys.

Volunteer journeys will take place in parts of W8 (Kensington), W11 (Notting Hill), and W14 (West Kensington), supporting visually impaired people on local journeys and activities.
Volunteer journeys are based across Kensington & Chelsea, covering: W8 (Kensington) – Kensington High Street, Kensington Gardens, local cafés and clinics W11 (Notting Hill) – Notting Hill Gate, Portobello Road, nearby parks and community spaces W14 (West Kensington) – West Kensington residential areas, local shops, GP surgeries, and transport links Journeys typically involve short walks, tube or bus connections, and nearby destinations within the borough. Volunteers will be matched to journeys close to their location where possible.
