Volunteer with us at our London Marathon stewarding points and help motivate our amazing runners!
We're on the lookout for passionate volunteers to join us at one of our events. As a volunteer on the day you’ll be part of an amazing atmosphere and will support Mencap to make change through raising funds or engaging with your local community. The 2026 London Marathon is on April 26th, and we need volunteers to join us at one of our 3 cheer points (Tower Bridge, Embankment, or at the Finish Line on the Mall) For these roles you will need to come ready to cheer and high five our amazing runners! We also need some volunteers to help us at the finish line handing out goodie to our finishers!
Events & Stewarding
Language Skills
As a volunteer you need to be willing and able to take instructions and work as part of a team.
As a volunteer you have the chance to make new friends, will receive agreed out of pocket expenses in line with our policy, receive a full volunteer briefing and training on the day, and have a chance to give back your local community.
We are asking you to volunteer for around 4 hours on Sunday April 26th, rain or shine, so be ready to bring the enthusiasm to help them cross the line!

There are nearby tube stations and bus stops a short walk from all locations.
