Join our team to keep the adventure playground and community centre safe, clean, and welcoming. You’ll jet wash surfaces, clear leaves, garden, and handle light repairs and painting. Help maintain the pitch, organise materials, and support upcycling projects. From refreshing kitchen spaces to assisting with seasonal activities, your work ensures a vibrant, well-cared-for environment for everyone. You are a responsible hands-on individual with a proactive approach to maintaining facilities in rain or shine. You have a keen eye for detail, can work independently or in a team, and are committed to creating a positive and safe environment for our community. Any experience in general maintenance, cleaning, and gardening tasks is desirable, but not essential.
Receive full induction and training. Access to social event with other volunteers in the organisation as well as trips and workshops. Regular meetings to provide feedback and contribute ideas, as well as to meet other volunteers. For this role we encourage applications from local people, however, we can cover travel expenses when this would be a barrier to volunteering. For long term volunteers references may be provided.
3 hours or 5 hours a week on Wednesdays
