Are you passionate about working with children and promoting social justice? Join us as a Woodcraft Folk Youth Leader and help create a supportive and inclusive environment where children can learn, grow, and have fun! We're looking for enthusiastic individuals ready to make a positive difference in their community by joining our existing team of leaders who deliver engaging activities for young people. As a Group Leader, you'll run weekly group meetings, organise outings and events, and support children in developing valuable life skills. You will plan fun and educational group activities, facilitate discussions, promote teamwork, and ensure the safety and well-being of all participants. You'll collaborate closely with other leaders, children aged 6–15, and occasionally parents or guardians.

Why these skills are required

No specific skills required. Any experience in planning and executing craft activites, games, discussions with children is welcome. You need to be interested in working with children but no previous experience is required. All training is provided.

Time Commitment

Two hours a week. You can occasionally take part in additional weekend activites though this is not required.

Indoor session are in a community centre in Archway. Outdoor sessions are in local parks and green spaces.

We're five minutes walk from Archway underground.
