Migrant Day Volunteer

Help us during our Quechua, Latin American and all Migrant Day celebration at the African Centre.

Detailed Description

Volunteer Roles &Responsibilities: Pre-event Preparation: Arrive two hours before the event starts to help set up, including placing posters, preparing the children's area, unfolding chairs,& assisting vendors in bringing in their goods.- Logistics &Support: Help groups& vendors find their designated tables;Assist artists with moving between changing rooms &the presentation area;Assist & direct those with access needs; Be vigilant & contact relevant staff immediately if a child is missing. - During the Event:Participate&help maintain a welcoming atmosphere& other tasks; Post-event Cleanup.

Time Commitment

It is for Saturday, 6th Dec. from 10AM -21:00PM. All day or minimum of 5 hours. Shifts will depend on numb er of volunteers. We are working to provide food for volunteers as we do not have many resources.
