Trustee preferably with legal experience, to help strengthen our governance.
Join our adventure! We have a vacancy for a trustee preferably with legal experience and used to dealing with contracts. However, we will appoint trustees mainly on the basis of a shared passion to protect the Playcentres for future generations. Planning and communicating is an important part of your role, with the support of other Trustees. We all meet monthly in Twickenham on a Tuesday evening, and get involved at the playground when time allows.

MHPC is a high-profile charity and this is a particularly exciting time to join us to help shape the partnerships we build, the services we expand, and the programme of site renovation, in consultation with children and their families. We provide a full induction and periodic training relevant to our aims. Joining our board is an excellent way to learn new skills, develop diverse relationships and gain a real sense of achievement alongside professional and family life.
Mostly outside office hours Estimate of time needed: 1-3 hours / week or 3-7 hours / week Tuesday evenings in person once a month. Other hours are mostly from home, using GoogleMeet to collaborate, and sometimes at the Playcentres itself.
