Wednesday/ Sunday Supporting people with disabilities to go sailing
Tideway Sailability
Tideway Sailability provides sailing for people with a wide range of disabilities.
We need volunteers to run all our activities- we have no paid staff. New volunteers are always needed to help with welcoming and preparing our sailors, helping with the boats shoreside, on the water accompanying our sailors, and with administration. No previous sailing experience is needed- we will teach you to sail. We use adapted boats that are simple to learn for both our sailors and the volunteers who accompany them. We sail in an enclosed former commercial dock in Rotherhithe and assistance is always on hand in case of difficulty.
