Volunteer Researcher – Cancer in Women’s Prisons (Public Health & Justice)
The View Magazine CIC
8–12 hours/week | Remote | Trauma-informed supervision provided
The View Magazine CIC is seeking committed volunteer researchers to support a groundbreaking report on cancer care in women’s prisons. This project examines systemic failures in diagnosis and treatment through a public health, criminal justice, and feminist lens. We are documenting lived experiences of incarcerated women denied access to cancer treatment, and exploring the intersection of medical neglect, gender-based violence, and institutional accountability. Volunteers will assist with literature reviews, data analysis, survivor testimony, and policy mapping.
