Young Voices Foundation
You'll be encouraging concert attendees to drop or tap a donation so children participate in choirs
You'll be part of a team of concert volunteers at Young Voices at the O2 in late Jan and Feb, you can sign up for one date or several. At the end (around 9pm) you'll be part of the exit team, wishing parents attending the mass choir concert performed by their children - and encouraging them to drop or tap a donation, so that Young Voices Foundation can give financial assistance to more schools, parents and children to participate next year. There will be an on stage announcement, so there's no 'selling' involved, plus we'll ensure all volunteers understand the Fundraising Code.

Managing People
Volunteers will need to be physically able to travel to and from venue via public transport. They will need to arrive by 6.30pm for a short briefing, to enjoy the concert and then to greet audience as they exit the arena, smiling, thanking and inviting audience to tap a donation (fixed amount) or give cash. Volunteers will be briefed on fundraising ethics and will hand over all equipment at the end - approx 9.45pm to the Foundation Management team rep.
All equipment provided - but if you can bring a wifi enabled mobile phone and download the contactless app we're using - that would be appreciated, but we will have a few hand held devices and the buckets too - with QR codes on for those who wish. You'll be provided with branded tabard to wear over your clothes, to be returned at the end of the night. Most important, you'll get to enjoy a Young Voices concert live! this is a joyous celebration of children's voices - with celebrity guest appearances too.
