Why these skills are required

As Head of Programming you’ll shape the creative direction of our station and help guide our team of young presenters, producers, and trainees. Working with the Station Manager and Training Lead, you’ll: - Plan and manage the weekly show schedule - Support presenters with ideas, structure, and content development - Keep a strong mix of Hip Hop, R&B, and community-driven shows - Maintain good broadcast standards and Ofcom compliance - Mentor young volunteers, helping them grow skills and confidence on air - Bring fresh ideas to boost our sound and audience reach This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who lives and breathes urban youth culture and wants to help the next generation of broadcasters thrive. You’ll join a friendly, creative volunteer team in Hanwell, West London, where collaboration and inclusivity are at the heart of everything we do.
