Mencap Volunteer Visitor (Out and About in Biggleswade)
Mencap
This is a volunteer role to befriend a lovely lady with learning disabilities in Biggleswade.
Volunteers visit 6 times a year to create a 1-2-1 connection and offer companionship. In many cases, this visitor is the only person in someone’s life who isn’t paid to be there for them. This lovely lady enjoys being chatty, sociable and exploring what activities and fun things Biggleswade and surrounding areas can offer – airshows, Christmas markets, trips to the pub and Sunday Church service. She would love to have a visitor to join her getting out and about or going for a cup of tea.
