Volunteers required to support the St Joseph's Hospice Cafe

Detailed Description

The cafe is open, Monday to Friday. • To provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our customers • Assisting the café team in day to day running of the café • To ensure the tables and surrounding area are clean and tidy • Stocking up on tea/coffee and condiments. • Cooking light breakfast items. • Assisting the catering assistant • Stocking up chilled food cabinet • Serving customers promptly, courteously and with a smile • Able to take orders, operate the till and handle card transactions. • Able to undertake serving food and drinks.

Excellent customer service skills – friendly, polite, and helpful Ability to use a modern till system, or happy to learn Good communication skills Willingness to complete Food Safety Level 2 certificate and any mandatory training A team player Promoting both the core values of the hospice and the catering service

Time Commitment

The café is open Monday to Friday from 7:30pm to 5pm. We have various shifts available.
