Detailed Description

At the Plumstead Community Law Centre, we have a management committee responsible for running the organisation and meeting monitoring and evaluation requirements, and we are looking for more committee members to join us. The management committee consists of volunteers who ensure the law centre fulfils all its legal obligations and operates efficiently and according to good practice guidelines. • Financial matters, for example budget reviewing and fundraising • Awareness raising to ensure the law centre is well known around Greenwich • Working with the law centre manager to ensure quality standards are being met • Devising the law centre’s business plan and monitoring its implementation • Making sure the law centre is fulfilling its responsibilities as an employer of paid staff
