Conservation Volunteer

Creekside Education Trust

Supporting the Conservation Team at Creekside who are responsible for managing the wildlife habitats at Creekside Discovery Centre and other sites such as Sue Godfrey Nature Park. Every Wednesday Volunteers work as a group to assist with litter picking, removal and management of invasive species, general habitat management, maintenance of site infrastructure, and much more. Optional volunteering opportunities include data recording and assisting with public events such as Wildflower Pop-ups.

Detailed Description

1. Support CET conservationists with the practical management of wildlife habitats. 2. Using tools to complete conservation tasks, where appropriate training and guidance is given. 3. Support CET staff and other volunteers with physically active tasks such as vegetation management or species removal.
