Detailed Description

The View Magazine is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented volunteer editor to join our team for Issue 15. As an editor, you will review, refine, and shape written contributions to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with our values of feminism, justice, and human rights. You will work closely with writers and the editorial team, helping to strengthen narratives that give voice to women in the criminal justice system. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on social justice, contribute to a unique publication, and collaborate with a passionate team.

Basic IT skills - internet & email, Language Skills, Reading & Writing

Why these skills are required

Volunteers should have at least 5 years of editing experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent written communication skills. A background in social justice, feminism, or human rights publishing is desirable. The ability to work collaboratively to deadlines and provide constructive feedback to writers is essential.
