At our small but busy nursery, we’re always looking for an extra pair of hands to help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. From updating display boards with the children’s latest creations, to refreshing important documents and keeping our filing organised, your support will make a real difference to the way we work every day. No two days are the same, you might find yourself typing up newsletters one moment and helping to prepare parent information packs the next. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being organised, creative, and part of a warm, welcoming team.
Administration
Admin, Basic IT skills - internet & email, Organising & Planning
Organisation – able to keep on top of tasks and manage small projects from start to finish. Attention to detail – spotting typos, keeping records tidy, and making sure information is clear and accurate. Basic IT skills – comfortable using Word, Excel, and email (extra points if you’re confident with Canva or PowerPoint). Creativity – enjoy making noticeboards and displays engaging and eye-catching. Communication – able to chat comfortably with staff and parents and write clearly for documents or newsletters. Flexibility – happy to take on a variety of small tasks as needed in a busy, ever-changing nursery environment. Reliability – turning up when expected and seeing tasks through so the team can depend on you.
