As an Online Awareness Raiser volunteer, you’ll help to raise awareness of caring and the support.
As an Online Awareness Raiser volunteer, you’ll help to raise awareness of caring and the support available to unpaid carers through social media, while also providing a voice for unpaid carers, with assistance from Carers UK. You will be there for carers through your social media accounts, reaching those who may not realise they’re caring. As many carers seek help and advice online, this role is a chance for you to make a difference without leaving the comfort of your sofa.

a good knowledge of at least one social media platform access to a computer, tablet or phone with internet access excellent online communication skills a friendly personality
You will be there for carers through your social media accounts, reaching those who may not realise they’re caring. As many carers seek help and advice online, this role is a chance for you to make a difference without leaving the comfort of your sofa. You’ll also have the chance to develop your IT and communication skills along the way.
This role is very flexible. You will be required to share the content sent in the monthly volunteer email but when you decide to do this is up to you. We only ask you to either use the links provide or let us know how you have shared our messaging to help us measure the impact of our social media activities.
