Our Trustees work behind the scenes to ensure Scouts runs smoothly, safely, and legally.
We’re looking for safe pairs of hands, ‘i’ dotters and ‘t’ crossers. Sound like you? As a Trustee, you’ll be part of a dynamic team working together to make Scouts operate like a well-oiled machine. Oh, and it’s fine if you haven't been a Trustee before. We’ll support you, making sure you learn everything you need to know, as you go. Trustee meetings happen around every 3 months, in person (biscuits provided!) or online (bring your own biscuits...) at a time that works for everyone. Between meetings, you will need to do a few hours of work, whenever and wherever works for you.

We'll train you in what a Trustee needs to know, but you will need some basic admin and organisational skills.
Scouts volunteers learn just as much as the young people do, about leadership and organisation. Volunteering looks great on your CV and it's good for your mental health!
Quarterly meetings (in person or online), and a few hours of work between meetings at a time that suits you.
