Life Changers
To work closely with the Director of Life Changers Foundation in the smooth running of the administrative function of Life Changers Foundation activities.
To work closely with the Director of Life Changers Foundation in the smooth running of the administrative function of Life Changers Foundation activities. Maintaining channels of communication and providing information to enable staff and other volunteers to work efficiently, plan workload and maintain records, as appropriate. To present a positive image of Life Changers Foundation services at all times, by carrying out the duties of the post to a high standard and being flexible on occasion as required. Key tasks 1. To complete routine letters, and written materials for use in training, as requested. 2. To deal sensitively and appropriately with all enquiries by telephone and in person, ensuring confidentiality is maintained. Filter telephone and personal enquiries to staff, as appropriate and relay accurate messages as required. 3. To be responsible for production of all documents to a high standard within set deadlines, including letters, memos, e-mails, reports, faxes, using MS Office and Outlook e-mail systems, as appropriate. 4. To assist in the general administration of the Office, as appropriate, including use of office equipment such as fax machine, photocopying, distribution of post etc. 5. To assist in the maintenance of adequate stocks of stationery and supplies etc. 6. To liaise with other volunteers and assist in their training on the job, as appropriate. 7. To undertake other duties and responsibilities commensurate with the grade, as may be required from time-to-time.

Volunteers will benefit from hands-on experience; they will learn new skills as well as build upon ones they already have. For example, they will gain administrative skills, valuable communication, public speaking, marketing and other hard and soft skills. These skills can be put on their resume /CV to show employers how they build relationships outside of work in addition to any personal interests that can set them apart from other candidates.
