Assist provision of therapy to patients in the local community.
ELT provides therapy to patients in the local community to enable them to live their lives with as much independence as possible. The role may include supervising a patient in carrying out an exercise programme, providing a patient with relaxation/massage and talking to them about their concerns and worries. What will I be doing? • Provide friendly, caring support to patients. • Perform gentle arm and hand massage. • Help patients with mobility and rehabilitation. • Work in a professional manner with seriously ill patients. • Handle difficult and challenging situations.
