Volunteer – Content, Outreach & Event Support (Vision Liberate)

Support racial justice, healing & mental health events through storytelling, outreach or event help.

Detailed Description

Help us create healing spaces for racialised communities. We’re looking for people passionate about racial justice, mental health & community care. Roles include: – Content & Storytelling: Support our social media and blogs to amplify community voices – Admin & Outreach: Help with coordination & connecting with local networks – In-Person Event Support: Assist with set-up & welcoming guests. Opportunities are flexible, with remote and in-person options available. Volunteers will contribute to meaningful events including our wellbeing programmes and community-led Mental Health Half Marathon.

Why these skills are required

We're looking for volunteers who are organised, reliable, and passionate about racial justice and community healing. Useful skills include social media/content creation, admin and outreach, event support, writing, and basic digital/IT skills. No formal qualifications are required — we value lived experience, willingness to learn, and commitment to inclusive practice.

Time Commitment

Volunteers can choose flexible hours based on their availability. Remote roles can be done from anywhere with a suggested minimum of 1–2 hours per week. In-person roles will be scheduled around upcoming events, typically on weekdays or weekends with advance notice.
