Adult Recruitment Volunteer
1st Cheam Scout Group
To run recruitment campaigns to secure new adult volunteers to support the 1st Cheam Scout Group.
1st Cheam is a go ahead’ Scout Group that has been active for over 90 years. Our unpaid volunteers offer a wide range of activities at weekly meetings and other outdoor activities for boys and girls in the age ranges of 6 to 14.5 years. The main tasks for this role will be to recruit adults to help us deliver great activities by engaging with our existing volunteers and parents of children in the group and drive forward adult recruitment campaigns eg; via through social media, advertising, press etc More information about our Group is available on our website www.1stcheamscouts.co.uk

The volunteer will need to be enthusiastic about adult volunteer recruitment and with some experience in using social media and IT systems to communicate.
Helping us deliver great activities for the young people of Cheam can be really rewarding. You get to meet other volunteers, parents of children in the Group and out Trustees in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere - you can even join in with the volunteers who run our Beaver, Cub and Scout meetrings if you wish.
This is totally the choice of the volunteer covering the role, our Beavers, Scouts and Cubs meet on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursday respectively for engaging with other volunteers and parents of children in the Group

21 Malden Road Cheam, but 85% of this role can be done from home with occasional visits to our HQ to speak with our volunteers, Trustees and parents of children in the Group
Almost opposite St Dunstan's Church in Cheam Village. Buses include 213, 151, SL7, S2 and 613. There is street parking in the area.
