Church based Youth Worker
TYM Youth Club
We need Youth Workers to work within the church building facilitating a Youth Club for young people age 11-18 years.
Our Church based Youth Workers provide activities and support for our young people within the church building. These sessions happen twice a week on a Tuesday evening and Friday Evening. We also have a session of Youth Church on a Sunday afternoon.

Volunteers should be able to relate to young people between the ages of 11 and 18 years, and have an understanding of the challenges they may face Volunteers must be willing to undertake an enhanced DBS check. Volunteers should ideally have an understanding of the Christian faith or be willing to learn and be mindful that TYM is a Christian based youth project. Volunteers should be young at heart and full of energy. Volunteers should be willing to become a mentor and role model for our young people.
Volunteers will get a sense of achievement making a difference within the community. Volunteers will be trained in Safeguarding, First Aid and other courses related to the position. Volunteers will get the opportunity to learn from our young people and other volunteers. Volunteers will be issued with PPE relevant to their role.
