Volunteer Playworker

We are looking for volunteer playworkers (18yrs+) to support us at our afterschool club, Kids Club.
As a volunteer playworker, you will be supporting our small staff team with the delivery of general activities. These include many varied arts and crafts, board games, tabletop football, outdoor play (football, hoops, skipping etc..) Our club's children vary in age from 2mnths to 16yrs and all children under 5 are accompanied by their parents who remain on site for the duration of club. Help us prepare our snacks, set up then tidy up after the club has finished. Club runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays (term time only) and times are 3.45pm-6.15pm.

We don't require any specific skills as such, we do ask that you are happy to muck in and join us in what activities are taking place and be empathic and caring.
You will gain skills in Creative play, Craft, Interpersonal skills and Team working.
We ask volunteers to commit to a minimum of eight sessions, these can be done once weekly or fortnightly. Days are Tuesdays and Thursdays (Term-time only) Times are from 3.45pm-6.15pm on those days.

We are located in Chalk Farm, NW1. We are unable to provide the direct address due to the sensitive nature of some of the families who reside in the temporary accommodation. Any volunteer who signs up with us will be given the full address once they are fully signed up to our volunteer rota.
