Hands-on trustee role in climate charity - either finance / accounts person, or volunteer manager, or marketing and outreach.
Are you interested in helping to salvage our climate in a hands-on trustee role with EcoCounts in North London? There is loads to be done, there are no pre-conditions - you can be young or old, black or white, mobile or not, male or female, gay or straight or anything in-between. This is about our common future, not our differences. In no particular order, we're looking for (1) someone with fundraising experience to help get financial backing - we already do some but we need someone to look at it consistently. This is the fundamentally important, engine room stuff 😎 (2) A major part of our approach will be online, so a communications expert with experience of digital publicity campaigns and websites would never be short of opportunities to lend a hand here 📣 📜 (3) just someone with their head screwed on properly, to keep an overview of our whole operation and strategy and to make sure we don't drop the ball on anything, whether it's volunteers, community outreach, budgets, performance 😁 📊 More than happy to go over the whole charity, strategy, program and all the works so far, or read it all on our website https://ecocounts.community . Not all skills are required for all roles.
This is a role for someone who is looking for a piece of the action and we are an organisation that can give that to you. We only have 3 trustees so when any of them are unavailable, we really feel it. We have 1 full-time volunteer and we’re looking for someone to take on some of the workload and help drive progress in addition to the standard trustee duties.
