You will be required to take control of all league finances using SAGE. This includes updating and managing clubs monthly statements (55 clubs), making external payments, making payments into the bank, carrying out year end accounts and any other necessary duties.
You will be required to take control of all league finances using SAGE and be a signatory on the account. This includes updating and managing clubs’ monthly statements (78 clubs), making external payments, making payments into the bank, carrying out year end accounts and any other necessary duties. You will need to attend bi-monthly meetings which fall on the first Monday of the month (August, October, December, February, April & June (General League Meetings) from 8:30pm Attend monthly meetings forming part of the Management Committee (2nd Thursday of each month) from 8pm Be available to handle queries from club representatives, other management committee officers and external customers/stakeholders. Create budget plans and forecasts, maintain financial sustainability

Bookkeeping and finance skills are essential for this role, A finance qualification would be desired, Good verbal and written communication skills, Independent working and working as part of a team will be required, Working to meet strict deadlines Report writing
You will be carrying out a role with a lot of responsibility. This will give someone essential bookkeeping and finance experience as well as giving you an opportunity to meet a wide range of people and gain an insight into the working of a football league and football in general.
