Befriend an adult with learning disabilities - Waltham Forest
Islington Council
Friendly and committed volunteer befrienders needed in Leyton
We are looking for friendly, compassionate, and committed volunteers to befriend people with learning disabilities. We will pair you with one of our clients and then you will visit them in their home as well as encouraging trips out to the local area. It might be that you listen to music together, have a chat, go out for a cup of tea or a walk in the park. If you volunteer with us, you'll know that your 2 hours every 2 weeks are making a huge difference to an isolated, vulnerable person.
