With the invaluable support of our volunteers, we create opportunities for connection and community engagement. We are currently looking for polite, trustworthy, and dedicated individuals to join our team as Bar Volunteers.
As a Bar Volunteer, you will provide a welcoming and supportive experience for visitors to our events. Your primary responsibilities will include serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, handling cash and card payments, and maintaining a friendly and professional atmosphere. You will also help create an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and respected.

Key Responsibilities: • Serve drinks responsibly and efficiently. • Provide excellent customer service, engaging with clients and visitors in a polite and approachable manner. • Accurately handle cash and card transactions, ensuring financial integrity. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies. • Adhere to licensing laws and guidelines regarding the serving of alcohol. • Assist with setting up and packing down the bar area before and after events. • Support and interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including blind and partially sighted clients. Requirements: • No formal qualifications are required – a friendly and trustworthy attitude is most important. • Confidence in handling money and operating a card payment system (training will be provided). • Patience, compassion, and excellent communication skills. • Willingness to follow our policies and procedures, including alcohol-serving regulations. • Commitment to upholding an inclusive and welcoming environment for all. • Be 18 years of age or older.

• This role involves evening or weekend availability, depending on event schedules. • All necessary training and support will be provided. Recommend a commitment of 6 months
