We're looking for Mentors based in South London!
Hello! We are looking for mentors in South London. Can you spare an hour a week to be a mentor and change a young persons life, if so apply today! The Ashdon Jazz Academy mentoring service: This is a year-long journey where young people are paired with a mentor to focus on goals. The mentoring sessions are focused around the young person and the goals will be set together with the parents/guardians, mentor, and young person. The sessions are weekly however the time may vary due to the young person's commitments or the type of activity they are doing. All of the expenses of the sessions are paid for by the charity as we believe that money should not be a barrier for these young people to enjoy the sessions. We are very keen that the sessions broaden the mentee's horizons and give them experiences they may not have done before. All our mentors go through training and are all DBS checked. Throughout the mentoring journey, Trisha (charity CEO) will conduct regular supervision with the mentors to ensure everything is going well and will be in regular communication with parents/guardians to ensure the young person is enjoying the sessions.
