packing and weighing food parcels for vulnerable people and their families, who visit the foodbank

Detailed Description

You will also record the deliveries so we can track the amount of food that we are providing people with. You will be restocking shelves to ensure packing food parcels is quick and effective as well as unpacking donations from local residents or supermarkets. You will be checking what products go out of date soon or we have an excess of so we can put those out on foodbank days and guests can help themselves. You will be checking the fresh produce to ensure they are in good condition and tidying them up or throwing away as needed. You will also be cleaning the fresh fruit and vegetable tables

What skills are required for this role

Cleaning & Tidying, Language Skills, Managing People

Why these skills are required

You will be ensuring the foodbank space clean and tidy ready to welcome guests. You will be working as part of a team, supporting team members as needed, and liaising with the Operations Manager and other Leads as required.
