Drivers are needed to work with clients within the Whitton and Heathfield wards of Richmond Upon Thames, to provide lifts for the elderly, disabled and others in need. Lifts might be to the local hospital and other medical appointments as well as to the shops and supermarket. Can you spare some time to help those in need? We are ideally looking for a commitment of 2 hours per fortnight so that you can provide transport to and from an appointment so the older person has some consistency to enable them to feel comfortable. Volunteer driving is generally between Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. We are really flexible though.... so you can do as much or as little as you want!
