After School Club Assistant
Term time only, Monday, Wednesday & Thursday 3-6pm Work alongside the After School Club leads, helping to set up and set down activities Supervise children, maintain ordaer, discipline and good manners, model good practice Maintaining registers and ensuring they are regularly updated Ensuring appropriate handover to parents or their representatives Ensuring the environment is clean and tidy and that resources are correctly stored after children have departed A DBS check will be required

Capable, calm (tolerant/patient) and thorough - Good organisational skills - Ability to dedicate a minimum of 4 hours per week - Ability to commit a minimum of three months (ideally longer) - Sense of humour and perspective - Ability to encourage and support children and vulnerable adults - Ability to communicate effectively - Able to work as part of a small diverse team - Ability to maintain confidentiality - A willingness to learn and show initiative - Some roles may require a DBS check which SCH will carry out on your behalf
